ABSTRACT

Bu çalışmanın amacı, kovid-19 salgının Borsa Ístanbul (BÍST)'da işlem gören ve Ímalat alt sektörlerinde faaliyet gösteren işletmelerin finansal performansı üzerindeki etkilerinin incelenmesidir. Bu doğrultuda imalat alt sektörlerinde faaliyet gösteren işletmelerin kovid-19 salgını öncesi ve kovid-19 salgını dönemine ait, finansal açıdan verimlilik ve etkinlik değişim değerleri Malmquist Toplam Faktör Verimlilik Endeksi (MTFV) yöntemiyle incelenmiştir. Çalışmada elde edilen bulgular, kovid-19 salgının imalat alt sektörlerinde yer alan işletmelerin finansal performansı üzerinde olumsuz etkilerinin olduğunu göstermektedir. Aynı zamanda bulgular, kovid-19 salgının en fazla ana metal sanayi, gıda içecek ve tütün, metal eşya ve makine alt sektörlerini etkilediğini göstermektedir.Alternate :The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of COVID-19 pandemic on the financial performance of companies operating in manufacturing subsectors and listed on the Stock Exchange Istanbul. In this direction, the financial efficiency and productivity change values of manufacturing companies before and during the Covid-19 pandemic were examined using the Malmquist Total Factor Productivity Index (MTFP) method. The findings obtained in the study indicate that the COVID-19 pandemic has negative effects on the financial performance of manufacturing companies. At the same time, the findings show that the COVID-19 pandemic has most affected the main metal industry, food, drink, and tobacco, metal and metals products and machinery industry subsectors.

ABSTRACT

The covid-19 pandemic, which affects life in every way, has inevitably had repercussions on education. The fact that schools are closed for a long time and education is continued remotely has become a variable that affects the academic achievements of students. In this context, the impact of the covid-19 pandemic on reading and reading comprehension, which are language skills, has been a matter of curiosity. The research aims to determine the effect of fluent reading skills of secondary school students on reading comprehension and their relationship with reading attitude and anxiety during the covid-19 pandemic process. The target group of the study is 300 students who are at the level of the fifth and eighth grades. In the research, student recognition form, reading attitude scale, reading anxiety scale, informative and narrative reading texts, multidimensional fluency scale, reading comprehension test and audio recordings were used as data collection tools. The data of the research were collected in accordance with the scanning method, the obtained data were transferred to the SPSS program and analyzed. In the results section of students ' reading skills and fluency without the required level of reading comprehension, reading fluency and reading comprehension skills of the students to be more successful in Girl, eighth grade students were higher than the positive attitudes of fifth grade students, it was determined that anxiety and reading. The results obtained at the end of the study were compared with the literature and some suggestions were made. (English) [ FROM AUTHOR]

ABSTRACT

The paper presents the results of a study on the possible relationship between the spread of SARS-CoV-2 virus and the Earth's magnetic field based on an analysis of digital data for 95 countries. Article is based on the statistic data of geomagnetic field and coro-navirus disease parameters, which allows, in our opinion, to obtain reliable results of their interpretation, which are as follows:The dependence of the spatial expansion of the SARS-CoV-2 virus on the value of modular values of the induction of the Earth's main magnetic field BIGRF is established. The maximum number of diseases occurs in countries located in regions with reduced (25.0-30.0 mkT) and increased (48.0-55.0 nT) values. The SARS-CoV-2 virus expansion of the dynamics of the geomagnetic field over the past 70 years dependence is established. Maximum diseases number refers to areas with maximum changes, in the direction of decrease (up to -6500 nT) and increase 2500 nT).Comparison of SARS-CoV-2 disease expansion dynamics with Kp-geomagnetic field perturbation index - shows the practical absence of such connection. The ratio of the maximum daily growth of diseases to the minimums of external geomagnetic activity detected. This ratio may be due to the intensity of galactic cosmic radiation increase during this period. The connection between the SARS-CoV-2 disease process dynamics and solar activity is shown, namely: the beginning of a pandemic is due to the superposition of minima of 11 (between 24 and 25) and 110 (120?) solar activity annual cycles. The increase of diseases number correlates well with the increase of the 25th cycle solar activity. The Spanish pandemic was characterized by a similar ratio, which arose about 110 years ago between 14-15 cycles and took place during the 15th cycle of solar activity growth phase.

ABSTRACT

Bu sebeple çalışmaya salgın öncesindeki 5 çeyrek dönemle, salgın sürecindeki 5 çeyrek dönemin verileri analize dahil edilmiştir. n örnek sayısının 30’dan küçük olması ve aynı örneklem grubunda yer alan bankaların, farklı çeyrek dönemlerde yapılan, aktif karlılık, kaldıraç oranı, özkaynak karlılığı, kredi/mevduat oranı ve özkaynak / toplam varlık oran ölçümlerinin ortalamalarının göz önüne alınıp karşılaştırma yapılması sebebiyle istatistiksel analizlerde bağımlı örneklemler t testi kullanılmıştır. Íncelemeler sonucunda, çalışmaya konu olan bütün finansal performans göstergeleri için, salgın öncesi ve salgın sürecindeki dönemlerin arasında anlamlı farkların meydana geldiği istatistiksel olarak görülmüştür.Alternate : The Corona virus pandemic, which emerged in China in the second half of 2019 and affected the whole world, including our country, for the past two years, continues to cause humanity to experience the greatest disaster and crisis ever in the world. Studies to overcome the crisis that has arisen due to the pandemic with the least damage continue, and scientists state that a solution to the pandemic can be created with the spread of the vaccine globally. It is aimed to examine the effects of the pandemic on Turkey, which caused an unprecedented level of economic and social recession in the world and in our country in 2020 and 2021. Data of 11 banks in the BIST corporate governance index (XKURY) and BIST Banks index (XBANK) are included in the study. The period when the pandemic started to spread around the world was accepted as “Q42019”. Then, the data of the 5 quarters before the pandemic and the 5 quarters during the epidemic process were included in the analysis. The number of samples is less than 30 and the averages of financial performance criteria such as return on assets, leverage ratio, return on equity, loan/deposit ratio, and equity/total asset ratios of banks in the same sample group will be compared hence paired samples t-test was preferred in the analysis. As a result of the analyzes, it was determined that there were statistically significant differences between the periods before and during the pandemic for all financial performance indicators that were the subject of the study.
